Merge license
  • Applicable scenarios: Equipment (node) combination is a sub-scenario of equipment (node) adjustment. Compared with the latter, the former does not need to adjust the BOM change when combining licenses of two equipment NEs. This is more efficient and convenient, but does not support operations on empty equipment NEs, pool selection and offline operations are not supported.

  • Business rules:

    1. The total number of NEs selected on the web page ranges from 2 to 50.

    2. The selected activated NEs are in Activated state by default.

    3. You can create or select an empty NE. The empty NE is in the Ready state.

    4. The total capacity of the BOM before and after the adjustment must be the same.

  • Procedure:

Step 1: Select the application phase, enter the region, rep office, and application reason, and click Add Equipment (Node).

Step 2: Select Equipment (Node), find the equipment (node), select the equipment (node), and click OK.

Note: You can find the corresponding equipment (node) by revocation code, LSN, or ESN. If you need to adjust the equipment (node) to a new empty NE, click Select Empty NE. If the equipment (node) is not created in the system, click Add Equipment (Node).

Step 3: Select the target device (NE). The number of source devices (NEs) is transferred to the target device ( NE).

    Notes:

    a) If no pool is selected:

When you adjust two equipment NEs, the system automatically changes the balance value to 0 if the current operation is allowed.

When you adjust three or more NEs, you need to manually adjust the change amount of each NE to ensure that the balance amount is 0.

    b) If a pool has been selected, you do not need to control the part whose balance is 0 but not 0. The part must have an inventory in the pool.

The source devices (NEs) are as follows:

The target devices (NEs) are as follows:

Step 4: Enter the service contract number and click Submit.

Step 5: Go to the background task and generate a new license file. After the task is successfully executed, click Download to save the license file to the local PC.
